Prabhas has been busy shooting for 'Adipurush' in Mumbai and ETimes paparazzi caught the actor in action on Sunday. Sporting a bulked-up frame and moustache for the action entertainer, the actor was seen shooting a studio in the city.
'Adipurush' is said to be an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana. Directed by Om Raut, the film features Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles with Prabhas. Speaking about his actors, Om Raut had previously told ETimes in an interview, “Saif and Prabhas have undergone a remarkable physical transformation and there is massive action involved too. There is a lot of physical transformation that Prabhas has undergone from an artiste's point of view and he continues to work on it even now as we shoot.” Praising Kriti Sanon he added, “She has finished her part and I think she's phenomenal. I mean she's so genuine and pure, and it's just a great experience working with her. Kriti has nailed the mental clarity that one requires to play the part that she's playing. She's also getting trained because she has to speak in Telugu, which is not the language that she could speak in, besides focusing on her diet and everything. It just shows the passion and dedication that she brings to the table. So, it was a lovely experience working with her.”
‘Adipurush’ will also feature Sunny Singh, Devdatta Nage, Trupti Toradmal and Vatsal Sheth in pivotal roles. Bankrolled by T-Series Films and Retrophiles, the film is slated for release in August, 2022.
