NEW DELHI: The Budget session of Parliament will commence on January 31 with the President's joint address to both Houses and will conclude on April 8. The Economic Survey is likely to be tabled on January 31 after the President's address and the Union Budget will be presented on February 1.
The first part of the session will conclude on February 11. Following a month-long recess, during which parliamentary standing committees will examine the budgetary allocations made to their respective ministries, the second half will begin on March 14. The session will conclude on April 8, sources said.
Amid the surge in Covid-19 cases, it is expected that it will be made mandatory for all MPs and those entering Parliament to present negative RT-PCR reports along with full vaccination certificates.
